Poppadom is about 9 years old and he has been an outside cat all his life. He was left on the streets by his previous owners and they refused to let him inside. Winters and summers he was fed by people in his rescuers’ neighborhood, and slept anywhere he could find a warm place.
Unfortunately, in May 2023, Poppadom has come asking for help – his rescuer took him in, and took him to the vets, where he was diagnosed with anemia, renal insufficiency and FIV. He also has a heart murmur, which is not severe. His renal insufficiency is currently being treated with special renal cat food, and the vet said that’s all that’s needed at this stage. He needs no other medication for his other conditions, but he does need to be an indoor cat because of his FIV.
He is an incredibly loving and loyal cat, and is always ready for pats, brushing and making biscuits. He has the loudest purr and sassiest meow cat can have and he is looking for someone that is willing to give him all the love and attention he deserves.
