Gentle Emma is a calm and affectionate young dog who was rescued from a yard where she and four other dogs were severely mistreated. She has been at the shelter since June 2023, slowly learning to trust and enjoy the comfort she never had before.
Emma is a quiet soul who loves cuddles and human companionship. She can live with other dogs and children, though due to her past and sensitive nature, she would be best suited to a quiet home—possibly with older, dog-savvy children. She hasn’t been tested with cats but can be if required.
Emma is comfortable being left on her own and can live happily without other dogs in the household. A home with access to a garden is ideal, where she can relax and feel safe.
