Our Step up for Strays 2022 campaign helped us raise £1500 specifically dedicated to spaying in Tulcea.
Ionela and Carmen, who run Asociatia “Milo” Tulcea, have decided to run two campaigns with the help of Anca, the vet at DMA Vetland – one in Topolog, a village 55 km away from Tulcea, and another one in Tulcea, Romania.
Spay the Streets #7 is the campaign in Topolog, where we managed to spay 22 animals (no.10 was missed off so only 21 photos). The most impressive part about this campaign is that it wasn’t initially planned – it was the locals who had a high demand for support with spaying their animals (due to low income) and strays.
