This section relates to adopting a dog or cat that is currently in a UK foster home or kennels or cattery. Their individual profile will state where in the UK they are. In most cases you must be prepared to travel to meet them.

We may be a small charity at the moment, but we are fully committed to finding the best homes and humans for our Strays. We guarantee life long rescue back up (RBU).

RBU means you can get support and advice throughout your whole adoption experience, and for the lifetime of your Stray and, if for any reason the adoption fails, the dog or cat will be taken back by the rescue and rehomed elsewhere. We do not currently have our own kennels or catteries in the UK, so we rely on our network of fosters and volunteers. Sometimes we have to find boarding kennel spaces, should a dog need moving due to a change of circumstances, and there are no foster homes available.

We ask for a different donation amount based on the costs involved in the rescue of the Stray. If the Stray has come directly from Romania to foster in the UK then we ask for £450 for a dog and £280 for a cat (add a supplement of £20 if the Stray is being fostered in Scotland, Wales, Devon or Cornwall). If the Stray originates in the UK then we ask for a donation of £400 for a dog, and if the Stray has been surrendered by a previous adopter then we ask for a donation of £300 for a dog and £150 for a cat.
