Leia is around 7 years old, although she behaves as if she were younger, and was saved at the last minute from the kill list at the horrendous Braila Public Shelter. In the ps she was horribly underweight, fearful and shy, but since rescue she has blossomed into a gorgeous, happy, friendly girl. She’s an absolute star in her foster home already. Toilet trained by the end of the first full day, she walks well on the lead and loves the company of the male dog, initiating play within an hour of arriving off transport. She’s not so keen on the female dog, and she’s uncertain of the cat. She’s fine around children 6+. She is absolutely fine with the woman foster, but she seems to gravitate towards the male foster, which makes us believe that maybe she once lived in a home with a man. Leia suffered heart worm in Romania, Stage 1, but this has been treated successfully and she’s been given a clean bill of health by the UK vet. She stands approximately 45cm tall and is approximately 60cm long. She will make the most fantastic companion for a single person or a family. Please only apply if you live in the Devon/Somerset area.
