UPDATE:
Leia has been a part of our family now for a month and we couldn’t imagine life without her. She has gone from a nervous, shy dog who hid in the corner to a happy ball of fluff who wants belly rubs 24/7. Leia is thoroughly enjoying her new life in the English countryside with lots of walks and new adventures, she’s even been brave enough to paddle in the sea. During her time with us we have seen a huge improvement, she’s incredibly smart and has learnt the commands ‘sit’ and ‘wait.’ Everybody who meets her comments on how beautiful and sweet she is, we hope in time she can also make some doggy friends. Our experience with Stray2Me has been fantastic and we would recommend them to anyone looking to rescue. We’ve felt supported during her transition and know we could ask for behavioural help in the future if we needed it.
