19.05.24. It is with huge sadness we would like you to know that Hope went to sleep for the final time yesterday. She will be mourned by her incredible foster family, and by the whole team.

Hope is our elderly stateswoman. She was rescued in March 2021, in a dreadful state. Thankfully she is resilient and we brought her to the UK in July 2021. She has been adopted 3 times, but sadly no one understood her quirky nature, nor were they able to understand her needs. But then Sophie and her partner came along, and they just clicked. Hope is elderly, and has some medical needs, so Sophie has agreed to be her long term foster. Hope gets regular walks, goes on holidays and enjoys motocross at the weekends. We could not have wished for better. We do, however, need to cover her monthly medical bill for Librela, plus any incidental medical needs, so we are looking at around £100 a month. If you can help a little, we would be so grateful.

Hope’s permanent foster parents: ‘She loves cuddles and treats, especially in the morning before breakfast. Every now and then, Hope still likes to let out her inner puppy and chase a tennis ball in the garden and have a run in the park. However, she is most happy with a full belly, snoozing in her bed, playing with toys and having cuddles.

When out on walks to our local park, she loves to say hello to everyone so she can have the opportunity for more cuddles. This is even better at dog friendly pubs where there is usually treats on offer too!’
