Lilly is now in permanent foster near Uttoxeter as part of our Hope for Seniors programme. We made the decision because Lilly has a heart condition which needs regular medication and this just wasn’t possible at the shelter in Romania. Since being in the UK Lilly has thrived. She’s loving sharing her home with Captain and Bertie and is a very sassy madam! It costs us £115 a month to keep Lilly in foster and she only has 1 sponsor at £10 a month, so a regular monthly donation would be appreciated. Please read Lilly’s story below.
Lilly is one of our seniors. She is approximately 12 years old, and she was found with her puppies on the streets, near the docks in Constanta. All of her puppies were adopted long ago, but poor Lilly has been forgotten about. She is around 20-25kg, and could possibly do with losing a little weight. She has a gorgeous light orange colour coat, with beautiful markings. She is a little shy until she gets to know you, so she will need someone willing to give her a bit of time to adjust to living in a home. She loves to play with the other dogs so she would benefit from living with another dog, and access to a garden. Lilly is spayed and vaccinated and patiently waiting to find her retirement home.
