UPDATE:
Shawn was born without a tail and rescued from a Romanian beach with his mum and siblings when he was just eight weeks old. After spending two years living in the shelter, we were lucky enough to adopt Shawn, who was brought to the UK by Stray2Me to be fostered in our town. Despite his background, he has adapted amazingly well to life in a house, and is already overcoming his shyness. We have loved watching as he relaxed and started to come out of his shell. He is the most wonderful, cuddly boy, who is grateful for any affection and makes us laugh every day with his antics. He’s now mostly clean in the house, loves his meals and walks, but really just wants to snuggle on the sofa with us and our little dog, Bella. The two dogs formed an instant bond, and are absolutely devoted to one another, which is wonderful to see. We wouldn’t hesitate to adopt a rescue dog in this way again as it’s been such a rewarding experience.
