Beautiful Aspen came into foster in Dec 2022. She is very friendly, has bursts of energy followed by a good nap. She plays with toys and chases a ball. She sleeps well but upstairs as she doesn’t like being on her own at night. She is housetrained and can be left for an hour or so, she just settles down. She is absolutely fine with the other dogs, even if they grumble at her. She is very food motivated, but there is no food aggression. She has learnt to sit for a treat and just seems to really want to please. All in all she is a super girl who is really beginning to enjoy her walks. She has a lovely nature and is just a lovely happy dog.

She has got a slight limp, but it doesn’t seem to bother her at all, and she isn’t able to eat very hard things like carrot. She’s on wet and dry food and has no problem eating her meals. She is quite snuffly with her breathing.

Aspen was hit by a car at 6 weeks old and suffered a broken lower jaw and rear leg. Luckily she has fully recovered, thanks to her wonderful rescuer. She is good with other dogs, cats and children. She weighs 15kg, so is on the small side of medium.
