Loki is a very loving lad who came to the UK in December 2021. Sadly, the resident dog gets jealous of him having attention, and this is causing fights, although the resident dog is more accepting of Loki now that he has been neutered. We believe, in the right home, Loki could happily live with another dog as a companion. He is not used to being left on his own, he is always with the resident dog for company, so any applications from people without a resident dog would need to be home for most of the time.

Loki is currently getting lots of off lead exercise, and is very relaxed and happy when out walking, he loves meeting other dogs. However, he may be over stimulated, so a combination of exercise and mental stimulation within the home may be more suitable for him. He is an intelligent lad, so activities such as agility or fly ball may suit him, in combination with opportunities to relax.

Loki can sometimes be possessive of toys, and likes to bark when he’s in the car, but both can be managed. His normal routine is to bark when the post arrives, don’t they all! And to bark when visitors first arrive, but he settles down after a few minutes. He will bark at other dogs when he is on the lead, but only because he wants to go and play.
