Although Alma can be nervous when she first meets you, once she trusts you she really is a bundle of fun. She loves to try and make you play, and she enjoys a good fuss. Currently in foster with 2 dogs and a number of cats, she is happy to chill in the garden, or on the sofa.
Alma was found with a prolapse, a broken tail, and a broken leg. Alma’s front leg and tail had to be amputated during surgery. Since being in the UK she has learned to enjoy walks, although she prefers quieter, more rural areas. Ideally we would like Alma to live with another dog and in a quieter environment. She would enjoy living with cats as a bonus.
This tripaw girl is understandably nervous on first meeting, but has shown no signs of aggression. Alma is around Jack Russel size, maybe slightly bigger!
We know that with patience and understanding she will be a wonderful companion and a great addition to any household.
