ROSIE (LT) – Fostered in Gloucestershire

Gorgeous Rosie was discovered on the outskirts of some woods in Romania and was at the shelter for over 3 years before we brought her to foster in Gloucester in December 2024.

Rosie has settled into the home environment brilliantly. She is a friendly girl who loves a fuss and cuddles. She can be wary of some strangers, but her natural desire to be loved soon helps her to overcome her concerns. She is a confident girl and sometimes needs to be reminded that she isn’t in charge, with some tasty treats, of course! Rosie enjoys being petted and sitting on human laps! She walks well on the lead, though she is strong, so she needs adopters who are physically robust and able to give her plenty of romps in the countryside.

Whilst in kennels in Romania, Rosie shared her space with bigger and smaller dogs (males mainly). She is currently in foster with a female dog and could live with another dog of a similar size, or smaller. Rosie is not suitable to live with cats. Rosie could possibly live with older teenage children.

Rosie is an energetic dog so direct access to a secure, private garden is a must. She enjoys chasing her toys, but will equally relax for a few hours in her crate.

Rosie is spayed and fully vaccinated. She Brucella Canis negative.
