Lulu and her siblings (Lala and Lily) had a very tough start in life. They were beaten and a shepherd tried to drown one of them.
Lulu & her sisters seem to most closely resemble a breed called a Hungarian Mudi, working type dogs, so Lulu will do great in an active home and with plenty of mental stimulation, although she also enjoys quiet time and is described as placid. Her sister Lily was adopted in early January 2024 and is doing great at training classes. She has also benefitted from some one-to-one training with the foster’s teenage daughter and can give paw, speak, lay down and roll over. She loves learning new tricks, sniffing games and playing with her toys. Lily’s adopter has been kind enough to foster Lulu.
Lulu is living happily with teenagers, though she will chase the chickens & the cat so we do not advise a home with younger children. She is fully vaccinated, spayed and weighs 13-15kg. Ideally she would like to live with another dog because she gains confidence when out on walks from being with Lily. But careful introductions would need to be made to ensure she is a match to a resident dog. She would also benefit from a rural or semi rural home because she does not enjoy busy street walks. Lulu can be left for short periods so any adopter will need the flexibility to be able to build up her time left alone. She would benefit from training classes, and would make an excellent running companion. She travels well in the car and has great recall off lead. Lulu is a very affectionate dog.
