Handsome Bruno was found collapsed under some bushes at the side of the road. Fortunately, the rescuer knew he had hidden there and found him.
Bruno was 25kg when he was rescued, and his ideal weight should be between 35-40kg. This is likely due to his positive testing for Canine Coronavirus (CCov). Although it is usually short-lived, it can cause a lot of abdominal discomforts. Now that Bruno has been treated, he is slowly gaining weight and has made significant improvements already.
Bruno is a very gentle boy who is believed to be around 1.5 years old (Feb 2023). Bruno is currently in foster with 6 other dogs and shows no signs of food aggression towards the other dogs. He recently met a child and was lovely to them. However, given his size, and strength, we are looking for a home for Bruno with adopters who already have, or have had, bigger dogs, and children should be 15 plus.
