ZAC – Sponsor but available to adopt

Zac was rescued as a puppy in February 2022 from an awful public shelter where he was on the kill list. Whilst at the shelter he contracted distemper, which thankfully he survived, but he spent a long time at a vet clinic in Bucharest.

We have now moved Zac to a safe shelter near Brasov. He is enjoying the space and access to a garden. He has a kennel mate and between them they happily destroy any soft beds we give them!

Zac is a friendly lad, though he is understandably nervous when you first meet him. He had neurological distemper and it has left him with a few problems. He can have intermittent urinary incontinence, and his balance has been affected so although he walks fine, he can be a bit wobbly. We realise it will be difficult to find him a home with his needs, but whoever adopts him will get a loving, loyal companion who just needs a chance after all he’s been through.
