Hope’s story began in November 2022, when she was just six weeks old. She and her sister were abandoned in a sack — an act that was caught on video and reported to the authorities. Sadly, the person responsible received only a fine. But despite such a rough start, Hope has grown into a sweet, affectionate, and trusting dog, full of love and spirit.

She is incredibly smart and eager to please, always ready to give affection and soak up attention in return. Hope is a gentle soul who enjoys the company of people and other dogs, though she tends to bond closely with just a few of her canine companions. She’s playful and submissive by nature, and she’s also independent enough to be left alone for a few hours without worry.

Hope hasn’t been tested with cats, but she’s shown she can live peacefully with other dogs. She’s also likely to do well with dog-savvy children, especially in a home where kindness and patience are part of daily life.

What Hope needs most is a secure and loving home — one with a safely enclosed garden where she can explore and relax on her own, just as she does now. A family with children or other dogs would be a perfect match for her playful and affectionate personality.

Hope is approx. 16.5kg, and stands around 70cm tall and 75cm long. She is fully vaccinated and spayed.
