PEPPER (rrc)

Pepper came into the shelter after a local man asked for Pearl and her kittens to be taken in, saying his child was allergic. Through no fault of her own, she found herself searching for a new beginning.

She is friendly and playful with other cats and would ideally like a home with a resident feline companion to help her feel secure. Pepper is slightly less confident around strangers than her siblings, but with a little patience and encouragement she quickly begins to relax. She hasn’t had direct exposure to dogs, though she has lived in close proximity to them and is used to their smell and barking.

If she were to live as an only cat, it would be important that someone is around much of the time to give her reassurance and company. Pepper can live with older children who understand how to behave gently and respectfully around cats and dogs.

She is looking for an indoor-only home, and would love access to a catio or secure, cat-proof garden. Pepper is spayed and ready to find a loving home where this sweet girl can continue to grow in confidence.
