SMUDGE (rrc)

Smudge was found abandoned outside the shelter with his brothers, Claude and Blue, after the rescuer discovered them frightened and alone. It’s no surprise that this difficult start has left him a very shy and cautious boy.

He prefers to watch from a distance and doesn’t currently play with other cats, but he feels safest when he has calm feline company. Smudge will need a gentle, friendly resident cat to help him learn that the world isn’t so scary. He is unlikely to make real progress in a shelter environment and needs a quiet home with patient adopters who will give him time to build trust.

Smudge is looking for an indoor-only home, ideally with access to a catio or secure cat-proof garden. He will be neutered before adoption. With patience and kindness, this scared little boy has every chance to blossom.
