BETTY (rrc)

Gorgeous Betty was rescued from the streets when she was a very small puppy and for a short while she lived in a house, but she has been at the shelter for several years now, along with Blossom. Betty is quite shy, but once she finds her forever home and learns to trust again Betty will be a wonderful companion. She will need plenty of decompression time. At present Betty is too scared to be touched, so it is not possible to get her on a lead and walk her. This is something an adopter will need to work on.

Betty is shy, though interested in people. She will need time to adjust to a home environment and, ideally, Betty would benefit from living with another, more confident dog or dogs.

Betty needs experienced adopters who are willing to go slowly to build her trust. She is not aggressive, just shy and scared. We would like a rural or semi rural location with a large, very secure garden and access to quiet walks. A shared garden or garden accessed via a lead is not suitable for Betty. Please note Betty cannot be cat tested.

Betty is spayed, fully vaccinated and weighs approx. 15kg.
